Term 2, Weeks 5 & 6

Weeks 5 & 6 were our last two weeks with our wonderful student teacher Miss Lee. We wrote some great narratives and also created some lovely sparkly hands to share some information about our culture.

Capacity and Length

This term we have been learning about capacity and length. We have completed some great activities to learn about measurement and capacity by making gingerbread men. We also made out own cities and measured the buildings.

Mrs Delowe has created a wonderful display in our classroom of  some autumn poems we wrote. She then laminated some autumn leaves together with our poems.

Keeping Ourselves Safe

This week Constable Harwood came to school to talk to us about how to keep ourselves safe. We learnt about the information we need to know about ourselves so that someone can help us if we become lost.

We should know: Our first and last name, our Mum and/or Dad's name and phone number, our address and suburb.
