Our Calendar Art

We made some amazing caterpillars for our calendar art. Mrs Hanson thinks they are very cute and will look great on a calendar, diary or some cards that our parents can order from the school office. We are all very proud of our work.

First we made our own patterned paper using paint and choose the colours we wanted to use. We then cut out all the shapes to create our caterpillars. In coming weeks we will also be creating butterflies in the same way.

Our Really Cool Owls!

We made some colourful owls one wet afternoon. We used coloured paper to create then and we are all very proud of our owls and how different they are.

Our Autumn Poems

Mrs Delowe has created a wonderful display in our classroom of  some autumn poems we wrote. She then laminated some autumn leaves together with our poems.

Our Bang! Boom! Crash! Stories

Mrs Hanson wrote a sentence starter on the board....Bang! Boom! Crash!...and we then thought of different things that could make this sound. We then did our own creative piece of writing.

Term 1 Week 9

Our Amazing Rockets

This week we made some amazing rockets using coloured paper. We had our class timetable, a rocket created by Mrs Hanson, as our inspiration. Our rockets are fantastic and we loved using sparkly glitter to create our stars and moon.
